Are you ready for your very own Outlander adventure?? We will spirit you away to another time and place as we take you to some of the most memorable locations from Outlander. Retelling the sorties for history and fiction, of course we will talk about filming and being on set.

Fort William - (Blackness Castle)

This 15th century fortress provides the setting for the Fort William headquarters of Black Jack Randall, as well as featuring in the heart-wrenching scene of Jamie's incarceration.

Wentworth Prison - (Linlithgow Palace)

This royal pleasure palace was the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots. The palace is breath-taking with a beautiful fountain in the courtyard. You will recognise the Palace gates and corridors as being those used in the scenes when Jamie was imprisoned.

Lunch

The Old Mill (Preston Mill)

Preston Mill is full of Character, you cannot mistake the twisted roof of the mill (reminds me of the sorting hat from Harry Potter) It's here that Jamie goes into the river to fix the water wheel. (I'm sure you all remember that scene very well, if not John will re-enact it for you, I’m sure)

Cransmuir (Culross)

Culross is small coastal town in the Kingdom of Fife, it featured as the village of Cransmuir where Jamie rescues the young lad with his ear nailed to the post. It's also where we see Claire and Gaylis carried through the streets, accused of Witchcraft.
